Description

This position will be working on the inpatient hematology/oncology unit at Santa Monica Hospital. The team mainly works with hematology patients on occasion will be working with oncology patients.

NP2 : Salary range : $84.82- $121.13/hourly

NP1: Salary : $76.51/hourly

Qualifications

• CA RN and CA NP License- required

• MSN/ DNP in Adult Acute Care NP Specialty-required

• National Certification in NP Specialty-required

• BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association- required

• NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, Additional: NPI #, DEA #, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required

• 1 year of experience as an hematology/oncology NP -strongly preferred

• If NP1 - experience as hematology/oncology RN required

• NP 1: less than 6 months exp as NP -$76.51/hourly

• Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs -required

• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel -required

• Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction -required

• Ability to set priorities -required

• Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence -required

• Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner -required
