We're looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk medical receptionist Located in Santa Monica. The receptionist will be the first point of interaction for our patients, playing an integral role in establishing a welcoming, positive experience. Duties for this role involve managing front desk operations, appointment scheduling, responding to inquiries, and fostering robust communication between patients and staff. The receptionist will also undertake personal assistant Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon entry.

Oversee patient check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.

Keep the waiting area tidy, organized, and appealing.

Use practice management software to schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Handle appointment modifications and cancellations professionally.

Streamline scheduling to optimize office efficiency.

Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.

Provide details about skincare products, services, and pricing.

Refer patient inquiries to the right staff or providers as necessary.

Keep patient records and ensure confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA regulations.

Process and collect payments.

Manage office inventory and supplies

Become knowledgeable about our skincare products and sell them to our patients.

Support the Doctor by managing their calendar, arranging their appointments, coordinating their travels, and other personal assistant tasks as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a medical or cosmetic dermatology office is preferable.

Personal assistant experience

Proficiency in office software and scheduling systems.

Further skills in PatientNow and/or TouchMD are beneficial.

Excellent team-oriented and communication skills.

Solid organizational capability with a keen eye for detail.

Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Familiarity with cosmetic dermatology procedures is a bonus.
