The Role at a Glance
Lincoln National Corporation seeks a Sr. Analyst, Application Developer in Radnor, PA for hands-on development lead in a full stack, cloud-based, API-Centric environment working in a highly mature Agile/Value Stream structure. Primary accountability to lead, coach and grow development resources and help shape a well-balance team with focus on you build it, you own/maintain it perspective. A lead role which will require a balance of helping to implement solutions, mentor and help develop team skills while also assisting in ensuring IT strategies are met. Serves as a technical subject matter expert within area of API-Centric environment which is heavily focused on the Customer experience with Web-based solutions and automation at the forefront of the work. Drives IT strategy and best practices, including standard items such as SLAs, technical debt reduction, pipeline/release schedules, while focusing on also maintaining the best total customer experience. Coaching/Mentoring/Managing the full lifecycle of web application development; from designing, building, testing, deploying, to monitoring. Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for API-Centric environment, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit. Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects. Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to team members regarding complex inquiries within established service standards and within acceptable quality guidelines. Consults and recommends to management training for team members (e.g. new hire, refresher, product/system release training) and procedural needs. Provides management with complex recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, advancement, or promotion, and offers input in the performance management process for team members. Develops complex processes improvements to ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance and provides ongoing assessment of effectiveness.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering Electric, Computer Science, or related IT field and 5 yrs experience execution of full development lifecycle include design, develop, deploy and administer software and infrastructure components in Cloud (AWS) environments include automated pipelines and full stack development utilizing Java, Spring boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular. Must have AWS Certified Developer-Associate certificate. Experience must include:
2 years web-based customer facing website development in insurance/financial services industry to provide real-time policy information and updates to customers and financial professionals, enable execution of monetary and transactional features with customer self-service experiences while applying PII industry specific standards, rules and regulatory requirements to support Omni digital experiences.
2 years Scaled Agile experience working in Jira or leading PPM to plan and coordinate work and manage risks on a Train or Value Stream to enable Digital CX and Correspondence integrated experiences.
1 year direct or indirect accountability as a technical lead to enable stepping into managing high-performing full stack team, include prod support and troubleshooting with major vendor experience (Verisk/FAST plus Bank of America).

The pay range for this position is $146,078 - $150,246 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
