Job Type: Full-Time

Rate of Pay:$155,000 - $178,000

Job Duties: Design and prototype user interface features for surgical robotic platforms. Contribute to User Experience (UX) concept exploration and refinement, immersive UI prototyping, visual design, motion design, AR/VR experiences and preparation of pixel-perfect final assets with little oversight needed. Communicate the UX documentation for handoff to the software team and support software implementation to ensure the design intent is realized. Lead multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges using approachable design solutions. Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to a variety of internal stakeholders. Perform user research and support human factors studies with interactive prototypes on various hardware platforms. Assess and provide guidance to the team on optimal the design toolkit by assessing new tools or methods. Serve as subject matter expert on advanced UI features including motion design and AR/VR. Mentor other designers and craft initiatives to improve the team capability and culture.

Qualifications

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior UX Designer & Prototyper-related occupation.

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
