We are looking to hire a skilled process engineer to oversee the design and implementation of our company processes. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, your job is to maintain the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.

• The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficiency across all stages of PCB fabrication.

• This is a responsible salary position requiring a “Whatever it Takes” mentality.

• This position may require working weekends on occasion to perform evaluations, verify PM aspects and support the department Supervisor's on process or equipment concerns.

• Expect an absolute minimum 45 hours per workweek (more typical would be 50-55 hrs per week)

Responsibilities

Engineering considerations in the Plating and Wet Process areas. This includes process recommendation and modification. It will likely involve Engineering considerations in other departments as well.

Assisting the area Supervisors in process procedures and training of employees.

Leading the quality improvement initiatives within the above stated departments.

Working with Supervisors to correct quality related issues & perform root cause analysis for process failures.

Leading productivity, cost, safety and waste minimization enhancements within the areas.

Conducting process / operator audits within the above stated departments to determine if variations to the procedure have been introduced. This will require attention to detail.

Working and communicating with Vendors on issues and product considerations

Communicating and working with Maintenance, Vendors, Production employees and the Lab / WWT on a routine basis.

Supporting Manufacturing in whatever means necessary.

Learn to operate the equipment in the associated departments. Must become proficient as an operator to ensure working knowledge of the processes that you must control.

Other responsibilities as required by the Engineering Manager & Director of Operations.

Assures manufacturing processes are running per procedure or in accordance with engineering tests.

Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow diagrams.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

• Engineering (5 years of experience is required)

• Route (3 years of experience is preferred)

• LAMINATION (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Technical Knowledge (5 years of experience is required)

• Analytical skills (5 years of experience is required)

• Drilling (3 years of experience is required)
