The Perimeter Protection team is a part of the AWS Network Services and specializes in providing cloud-native solutions that enable customers to protect their networks and applications. We develop scalable, secure, and reliable services to address modern cybersecurity challenges, ensuring businesses can operate confidently in the cloud. We are seeking a customer-obsessed Principal Product Manager - Technical (PMT) to lead innovation in cloud-native security solutions. As a Principal PMT, you will drive key initiatives that deliver measurable customer value, influence long-term strategy, and elevate AWS’s leadership in the cybersecurity space.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. Key job responsibilities

Own the Product Strategy for GenAI based Security Posture Management services: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product portfolio, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.

Drive Execution: Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features, define detailed product requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Cross-Service Integration: Lead efforts to define and improve how internal AWS services work together, enabling customers to derive greater value from seamless integration and enhanced interoperability.

Market Canvassing: Conduct deep market research to identify unmet customer needs and define opportunities for new AWS services that address emerging trends and challenges in network and application protection.

Partnership Opportunities: Define and develop strategic partnership opportunities where AWS can augment its existing solutions by collaborating with third-party providers to deliver comprehensive security offerings.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

• 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
