Job Title: Material Handler in Santa Clara, CA paying upto $26/hr.

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will ensure all QAD production and inventory-related transactions are completed in a timely fashion. You will support CER in the backflush of components to work orders and work order completions, assist the Materials team in providing Kanban component fulfillment, and provide work order support to meet production schedules. Additionally, you will assist in the analysis of inventory discrepancies in production control and finished goods areas, work with management to maintain production schedules and reports, and be fully cross-trained in all production control activities. You will also provide backup for Materials Handling, Shipping, and Receiving functions, perform production control activities under direct supervision, and independently solve routine issues while following Good Manufacturing Practices and complying with written company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all QAD production and inventory-related transactions are completed in a timely fashion.

• Support CER in the backflush of components to work orders and work order completions.

• Assist Materials team in providing Kanban component fulfillment.

• Provide work order support to meet production schedules and assist in production prioritization.

• Assist in the analysis of inventory discrepancies in production control and finished goods areas.

• Work with management to maintain production schedules and reports.

• Be fully cross-trained in all production control activities.

• Provide backup for Materials Handling, Shipping, and Receiving functions.

• Perform production control activities under direct supervision and independently solve routine issues.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Comply with written company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Experience with ERP systems.

• Proficiency in data entry.

• Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and Kanban.

• Comfortable with repetitive lifting and bending.

• Ability to be on feet for at least 6 hours/day.

• Experience in domestic and international shipping.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
