Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Job Description
As a Facilities Assistant, you will manage and control inventory for breakrooms, conference rooms, and copy rooms, ensuring these stations are stocked and maintained in a clean and orderly condition. You will perform a variety of light maintenance and business services tasks, set up inspections, and restock printer and copying stations. Additionally, you will assist in office refits and breakdown procedures, inventory and track assets and equipment, and inspect conference rooms for meeting readiness. You will also set up workspaces for new employees, handle the relocation or removal of portable office furniture and equipment, respond to emergencies, and complete work and service requests using provided computer resources.
Responsibilities
Manage and control inventory for breakrooms, conference rooms, and copy rooms.
Perform light maintenance and business services tasks.
Set up inspections and restock printer and copying stations.
Assist in office refits and breakdown procedures.
Inventory and track client and company assets and equipment.
Inspect conference rooms for meeting readiness and post necessary signage.
Set up workspaces for newly hired employees and provide starter office supply kits.
Relocate or remove portable office furniture and equipment as needed.
Respond to emergencies or non-business hour requests for services.
Complete work and service request tickets using provided computer resources.
Order reserve supplies and accessories for printing and copier stations.
Notify internal dispatching, vendor management staff, and external service providers of building deficiencies and repair needs.
Conduct quality assurance inspections regarding building custodial and grounds services.
Essential Skills
Basic inventory experience (6 months to 1 year).
Ability to load and move furniture in office spaces.
Knowledge of computer operating systems.
Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to utilize phones to call other service departments.
Proficiency in basic computer programs to read work/service tickets.

Work Environment
You will work on-site in an office space setting as part of a team of five facilities department members. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
