Description
As an engineer on the team, you will help guide the products, applications, and features that bring the best of our complex search technologies to Apple users. From Natural Language Processing, Query Understanding, Machine Learning, Ranking and Relevance, Big Data consumption all the way to complex experiences. Be ready to architect and develop robust products and applications for Search Applications and across Siri, Spotlight and Safari. Specific responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing intelligent user experiences - Integrating with data and services from multiple providers - Working with our platform team to define infrastructure interfaces - Working with design and client-side teams to ensure a great user experience - Working with globalization team to build diverse and localized experiences
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
5 years of industry work experience
Strong Computer Science fundamentals including familiarity with basic algorithms and data structures
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
In-depth experience with server-side development and deployment
Demonstrated experience with a modern high-level pro
Opinionated product-sense and focus on the end user-experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
