Applied Materials Administrative and Events Program Manager in Santa Clara, California
The Administrative and Events Program Manager is a dynamic role designed for a highly organized and proactive individual capable of coordinating various events and managing a wide range of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will strategize and execute events, facilitate meeting logistics, ensure the smooth operation of daily office functions, and provide support to senior executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing and Management. Plan, organize, and execute community development events for the SAMC community, overseeing every aspect from conceptualization to execution. This includes developing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the events across the organization, securing venues, arranging catering, coordinating with vendors, and managing event logistics including A/V technology.
Meeting Coordination. Organize and schedule meetings involving Senior Executives, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and content development owners. Ensure that all parties are informed of meeting details and that all necessary arrangements are made promptly.
Logistical Support. Arrange for conference room bookings, and distribution of awards and promotional items (swag). Ensure that all facilities and materials are prepared in advance of meetings and events.
External Guest and Visitor Facilitation. Serve as the point of contact for external speakers and visitors. Coordinate their visits to ensure a seamless and professional experience.
Administrative Oversight. Maintain and update administrative processes to improve efficiency and support office operations. Provide direct support to the leadership team as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in administrative management, event planning, or a similar role.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with executives, team members, and external partners.
Proficiency in office software and event management tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

U.S. Salary Range:
$101,000.00 - $139,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
