Description We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The role involves ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintaining proper customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. As part of the team, you will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process claims for program services and clinic, specifically to CenCal

• Submit accurate billing data to CenCal and resolve any instances of denial

• Ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided

• Conduct regular billing audits to maintain accuracy

• Maintain precise tracking and documentation for reimbursement, grant, and in-house reporting

• Work seamlessly within a team environment

• Perform detail-oriented duties in a timely manner

• Handle the administration of claims, appeals, and billing functions

• Manage tasks related to accounts receivable (AR) and benefits functions

• Utilize skills in EHR System and Epaces for efficient functioning. Requirements • Proficiency in using EHR SYSTEM for maintaining and managing patient records.

• Familiarity with Epaces software to ensure seamless and accurate medical billing.

• Demonstrable knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage outstanding balances and ensure timely payment.

• Experience in handling Appeals to resolve any disputes or denials in insurance claims.

• Understanding of Benefit Functions to accurately calculate and apply patient benefits in billing.

• Expertise in Billing Functions to ensure correct invoicing of medical services and procedures.

• Ability to perform Claim Administration tasks, including submission and tracking of insurance claims.
