Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Santa Barbara, California. The role will be situated within the government sector, where the selected candidate will be responsible for processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving any inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer registration

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and file organization

• Actively engage in email correspondence with customers

• Organize and scan files as part of record-keeping duties

• Handle typing tasks associated with data entry

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status

• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements • Possession of 10 Key Skills for efficient data entry and calculations

• Must have strong customer service skills to interact with various departments and external parties

• Proficiency in data entry to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Ability to handle Email Correspondence professionally and efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents

• Organizational skills for managing and organizing files systematically

• Ability to perform calculations accurately for data processing tasks

• Proficiency in scanning documents to digitize physical records

• Fast and accurate typing skills for efficient data entry and communication.
