Description We are in search of a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team located in Santa Barbara, California. The selected candidate will be tasked with managing all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing property tax payments, as well as assisting with various tasks and projects. This role is critical in maintaining our financial records and will provide a significant contribution to our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple entities

• Track and process property tax payments for a range of properties

• Assist with annual operating cost reconciliations for tenants

• Prepare daily reports as required

• Assist with various tasks and projects as directed by management

• Utilize bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks and bill.com, to maintain accurate financial records

• Apply proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data

• Handle and protect confidential information with discretion

• Ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrable Bookkeeping skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Payroll processing

• Skilled in using QuickBooks for financial management

• Familiarity with bill.com for bill payment and invoicing

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge in financial reporting and other legal requirements

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Relevant certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) is a plus.
