Description

We are in the search for a proficient Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team based in Santa Barbara, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications

• Maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Effective handling of vendor inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department personnel when necessary

• Scanning and inputting invoices into the computer system

• Execution of accounts payable checks by processing check request and payment approval forms, and printing checks

• Management of product invoices using 3-way match, communicating discrepancies with Department personnel

• Printing of all accounts payable reports and maintenance of all accounts payable files

• Assistance in monthly closings through the maintenance of A/P logs

• Compliance with federal and state safety regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned, delegated or required

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for managing and organizing financial data.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial operations and ensure accuracy.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to integrate and manage the essential parts of the business.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic money transfer is essential.
