Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Writer in Santa Ana, California. This role is integral to our telecom provider industry, requiring proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, and Database, among other skills. The successful candidate will be primarily based in our Santa Ana office, contributing to the development of technical documents and simplifying complex information into user-friendly content.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and edit technical materials such as reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction manuals, user guides, and other related documents.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and translate technical complexities into clear, concise, and reader-friendly content.

• Utilize Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, and other software to create and manage technical content effectively.

• Conduct AB Testing and adhere to AP Style guidelines to ensure the quality and effectiveness of written content.

• Leverage knowledge in EO/IR systems and Microsoft tools to enhance the readability and utility of all technical documents.

• Utilize knowledge in computer hardware and design principles to create accurate and user-friendly documentation.

• Manage multiple documentation projects concurrently, ensuring all deliverables are met within deadlines.

• Continually update technical skills and knowledge to remain competitive in the evolving industry.

• Review, revise, and maintain all technical documents regularly for accuracy and up-to-date information.

• Collaborate with the team to determine the need for new documentation or updates to existing materials. Requirements • Proficient in Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe RoboHelp

• Experience with Database and EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Microsoft software

• Knowledge in AB Testing and AP Style

• Understanding of Computer Hardware and Deliverable

• Ability to Design technical documents

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner

• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
