• Liaising with client departments and customers. • Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs. • Supporting with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs. • Helps follow up on open work orders • Helps ensure preventative maintenance is being performed routinely • Helps obtain necessary parts for safety upgrades • Improving system for parts management • Update records for machine evaluations • Involved in daily LPMS meetings • Supporting with assuring safety and environmental related regulatory compliance issues are met, as well as the preparation, updating and implementation of company safety policies/standards. • Participates in Plant Safety Committee • Analyze, prepare, and maintain mandatory/regulatory related safety reports and records. • Supports accident investigations, safety inspections, and audits. • Support plant emergency plan related activities. • Supports investigations and reporting process as is relates to general Workers Compensation liability claims. • Supports training at all levels of the organization to promote optimum safety and environmental performance and coordinates training required by EPA, OSHA and state regulatory agencies. • Provides recommendations to production/facilities improvements to enhance productivity and safety. • Other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
