Job Title: Construction Worker - Framing/Stucco/ OR Maintenance

Job Description

Aerotek is currently recruiting construction workings in the Santa Ana, Anaheim, and Fullerton areas. There are a few different job openings. Skills we are seeking:

Framing, stucco, patching, drywall, painting, maintenance, demolition and more. IF you have any of these skills please apply.

Responsibilities

• Patch stucco on the exterior of the complex

• Replace wood as needed

• Perform light painting tasks

• Collaborate with team members to refurbish vacant apartments

• Utilize hand tools for various tasks

• Conduct general labor, cleaning, and construction work

• Perform electrical and plumbing tasks as required

• Engage in carpentry, including finish carpentry and rough carpentry

• Handle drywall tasks and metal stud work

• Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures

• Work with cabinetry and prepare surfaces for painting

Essential Skills

• Experience with wood and stucco repairs

• Proficiency in electrical and plumbing tasks

• Mechanically inclined

• General labor and construction experience

• Carpentry skills, including finish carpentry and rough carpentry

• Drywall installation and repair

• Ability to use hand tools effectively

• Experience with painting and paint preparation

• Knowledge of metal stud work

• Accurate measurement skills using tape measures

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude

• Willing to train even if only proficient in one of the above skill sets

Work Environment

All positions are 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM. You will be working in teams of two to refurbish vacant apartments. The role involves working with various construction tools and materials in a collaborative team setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California.
