Job Title: AOI Operator

Job Description

AOI Operator/Inspector needed for a circuit board manufacturing facility in Santa Ana, CA. The role is for the 2nd Shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm with the potential for overtime, including Saturdays. The facility specializes in advanced technology printed circuit boards with a focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex products, particularly in RF/Microwave applications.

The AOI Operator will perform repetitive machine and manual operations to ensure the quality of circuit patterns on panels and operate AOI and verification machines requiring moderate complex setups, constant monitoring, and close visual inspection.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all AOI and supporting equipment.

  • Evaluate and discontinue processing of non-conforming product and report to the AOI Lead.

  • Follow production control scheduling to maximize productivity.

  • Review all travelers.

  • Generate a first article report when the product does not conform to customer specifications.

  • Rework defects as needed per applicable specifications.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to read and understand technical work instructions.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk throughout the day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic computer and documentation skills.

  • Strong concentration and ability to remain focused with minor interruptions.

  • Experience with PCB, IPC-6012, IPC-6013, IPC-6018, IPC 600, AS9102, AS9100, PWB, and machine operation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
