We are looking for a Total Rewards Project Manager to shape Grifols’ total rewards agenda on both compensation and benefits side, to make a significant impact on employee satisfaction, engagement and retention. The employee will participate in the design and implementation of executive compensation, long term incentive plans, variable schemes, total reward design, job description evaluation, salary reviews, merit increase processes, etc.

What your responsibilities will be

You will have the opportunity to:

Executive Compensation

  • Design and administer executive compensation plans, including short- and long-term incentive plans

  • Prepare compensation reports and recommendations for the Board of Directors and Compensation Committe

Total Reward Design

  • Develop and implement comprehensive total reward programs, including base pay, incentives, benefits, and recognition programs

  • Ensure total rewards strategies are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals.

  • Communicate total rewards programs to employees, ensuring understanding and engagement.

Salary Review and Benchmarking:

  • Lead annual salary review processes, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to inform salary structures

  • Provide recommendations for salary adjustments and increases based on performance and market data

Variable Compensation Schemes:

  • Design and implement variable compensation schemes, including sales incentives, bonuses, and other performance-based rewards

  • Analyze the effectiveness of variable compensation programs and make data-driven adjustments to optimize performance and motivation

  • Ensure variable compensation schemes are aligned with business objectives and market practices

Job Description Evaluation

  • Conduct thorough job analysis and evaluations

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand role requirements and expectations

Merit Process Management:

  • Design and manage the merit increase process, ensuring transparency and fairness

  • Develop guidelines and tools for managers to effectively conduct performance reviews and merit assessments

  • Monitor and analyze merit increase distributions to ensure equity and alignment with company policies

Policy Development and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and update compensation and benefits policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations

  • Stay updated on compensation and benefits trends, laws, and best practices

Who you are

  • You have a University Degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Management or similar. It will be an added value if you have professional or business qualifications (MBA, business, etc.)

  • You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position

  • You have knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations

  • You possess proven experience in designing and managing variable compensation schemes

  • You have experience working with HRIS and compensation analysis tools

  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills

  • You are a detail-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • You are a result driven person and team player, able to collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve the objectives.

  • You speak fluent level of English and Spanish.
