BBSI SANDY Welder in SANDY, Utah
Job Summary: BBSI is looking for MIG and TIG welders. Will be welding metal aluminum boxes for industrial electrical control panels. Some structural welding building frames for the E-houses. Will have pass weld test. Tig and Mig weld test on 12, 14 and 16 gauge, also welds on heavy tubing that is 3/8" and 1/4" wall to test fitter skills.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr to $28.00/hr DOE (plus $3.50/hr shift differential for Swing Shift)
Job Location: West Jordan
Shifts: Day Shift: 7am-3:30 pm, Monday - Friday Swing Shift: 3:00pm-2:00am, Monday-Thursday. Must be able to work OT as needed
Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following:
- Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
- Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
