Simons Property Maintenance, Inc., located in Bluffdale and Sandy, UT, is seeking 5 temporary, full-time Maintenance Helpers. Duties: Assist Maintenance workers with maintenance of vehicle fleet, trailers, and lawn equipment. Assist with vehicle, trailer and lawn equipment maintenance, by replacing worn and faulty parts, disassembling faulty equipment to facilitate repair and reassembling once repairs are completed. Clean and lubricate vehicles, machinery, snow and lawn equipment. Provide tools, materials, and supplies to maintenance workers, clean work area, machines, and tools. Organize supplies and inventory. No education required. No experience required. Employer will offer 35 hours of work per week, Monday -- Friday 9:00AM until 4:30PM. Workers are needed to begin work on 11/22/2024 through 04/14/2025. Wage: $18.47-$19.00 per hour. Occasional OT offered paid at $27.71-$28.50 per hour. On-The-Job training available. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Monday (bi-weekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Housing or lodging will not be provided. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker and/or arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the worksite in Sandy, UT. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
