Your Role at KIK

The Senior Supply Chain Planner reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager in our Household business. You are responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maintaining high service levels. This involves demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, procurement, and logistics coordination. The role requires close collaboration with various departments such as sales, marketing, production, and logistics, as well as external suppliers and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner and support cross-functional teams (PMO, Procurement, Vendors, 3PL, Sales, Manufacturing and Finance) to ensure the company meets performance targets.

• Partner with KIK plants, suppliers, and procurement to maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods at plants and warehouses as assigned in time to meet production requirements and customer demand

• Ensure customer demand is satisfied while preventing production schedule changes dues to raw materials shortages

• Manage projects to change production lines (i.e., discontinuation, product changes or new product introductions)

• Perform safety stock analysis to determine appropriate inventory stocking levels.

• Develop effective communication channels with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers, and Vendors to maximize customer service, while managing inventory.

• Own the allocation process should supply/service issues occur

• Primary owner of planning and inventory control master data parameters

• Perform forecasting and data analysis on existing and incoming inventory, and predict stock-out dates

• Identify process improvements opportunities and recommend solutions

• Responsible for ad-hoc analysis

• Evaluate and coordinate the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing or a related discipline

• APICS/CPIM certification preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of related Supply Chain experience

• Ability to analyze and solve problems, results oriented

• Excellent relationship building and communication skills

• Organized and detail oriented, adaptable to change

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)

• Knowledge of ERP Systems (JD Edwards experience is an asset)
