The Manager, Inventory Flow is the primary interface between businesses and distribution centers in the monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE processes, to communicate the constraints of the distribution network to the business and bring back the relevant findings for aggregation to the distribution centers. This role is also responsible for the distribution network capacity planning. Additionally, this role will participate in the project management of supply chain network transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key contact representing the North American distribution network in business S&OP and S&OE processes

  • Participate to monthly S&OP and weekly S&OE meetings led by the assigned business and communicate the constraints of the distribution network

  • Lead a weekly meeting with the distribution network to bring back the relevant findings from the business S&OE for aggregation to the distribution centers and identify constraints of the distribution network

  • Effective communication and knowledge of various constraints across the distribution network

  • Identify space constraints and work towards resolution, using escalation as needed

  • Manage projects of supply chain network transformations or network capacity management

  • Lead multiple analytics projects simultaneously around network inventory flows

  • Partner with the network modeling team to understand SKU level flow routes and cost models

  • Serve as go to resource for distribution network inventory flow analytics

  • Develop analytics and corresponding presentations materials for senior leaders

  • Lead and facilitate team discussions and project workshops for gathering requirements, report design, dashboard design, and business metadata collection

  • Provide structured and creative analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities and effectively communicate findings with internal clients

  • Create presentations on the various work being supported that will be communicated through all levels of the organization

  • Effectively communicate problem solving results and approach to various levels of management

  • Fully document analytics approach, data sources and transformations, assumptions, and constraints

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of job experience in supply chain (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical skills)

  • Leadership experience in distribution, planning or supply chain analytics is preferred

  • Good working knowledge of the principles of supply chain, planning, distribution, and/or transportation

  • Experience with S&OE and/or S&OP is strongly desired

  • Experience in SAP APO / SAP IBP, SAP Business Objects, SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and PowerBI or Tableau

  • Experience in analyzing and profiling both source and transformed data

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and work with all levels of associates

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
