Robert Half Estate Planning Associate in San Mateo, California

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Estate Planning Associate to join our team in San Mateo, California. The primary function of this role is to work with clients and advisors in the areas of Trusts, Estates, Probate, Trust Administration, and Litigation. We are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of estate planning.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing estate plans that range from simple to complex

• Commencing and completing trust administrations and probates by collaborating with clients and advisors

• Handling all aspects of trusts, probate, trust administration, and conservatorships

• Utilizing your experience with Propositions 13 and 58, including entity formation and operation

• Leveraging excellent writing and communication skills to effectively communicate with clients

• Proficient use of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for various tasks

• Utilizing TimeMatters, Gavel, or other Case Management Software for efficient case handling

• Employing Adobe Acrobat for document management and other tasks

• Using Clio billing software for accurate billing processes

• Deploying HotDocs base programs for Judicial Council Forms and estate planning document creation.

Requirements

• Must possess a strong understanding of estate planning principles.

• Familiarity with case management software.

• Experience in briefing, civil litigation, claim administration, and complaint handling is essential.

• A background in consumer electronics will be advantageous.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.

• The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial.

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically are required.

• The candidate must have a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.

• A comprehensive understanding of and experience with legal procedures related to estate planning is necessary.

• The candidate should have the ability to interpret and apply laws, court decisions, and other legal authorities in a variety of procedural situations.

• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents is a must.
