Entry-Level Accounting Assistant – San Marcos

Our client based in San Marcos is on the hunt for a fresh graduate to join their team as an Accounting Assistant. This exciting entry-level opportunity is perfect for ambitious individuals looking to kick-start their career in finance. As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the finance department, accountant, and management team by completing routine accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support to the accounting department.

• Performing basic office tasks, including filing, data entry, handling mail, and preparing invoices.

• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

• Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and yearly activities, including generating financial reports.

• Participating in preparations and presentations of quarterly and yearly financial reports to Board of Directors.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

• Strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
