We are looking for a LABOR RELATIONS MANAGER talent, to join our specialized HUMAN RESOURCES team for SAN LUIS POTOSI, SAN LUIS POTOSI, MEXICO.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business, Labor Relations is required.

  • At least 5 years of direct management experience with union leaders at the state level. As well as leading wage and benefit negotiations with unions.

  • Excellent experience in planning long-term labor relations strategies. Also approving bargaining and labor relations strategies with corporate teams.

  • Deep knowledge and use LFT.

  • Excellent experience designing and implementing action plans to adapt working conditions following legal labor changes.

  • Advanced English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

In this position you will have an impact by:

  • Executing the business and people strategies through Labor Relations planning and tactics, including the identification of the gaps in our contracts and policies that need to be closed between the strategy and current state.

  • Managing the administration and implementation of the organization's labor relations programs, policies and procedures; managing conflicts and the grievance process, prepares for arbitration, and interpreting labor contracts.

  • Leading in the collective bargaining negotiation preparation process including terms and cost analysis; with legal counsel, participating in the collective bargaining process.

  • Maintaining an understanding of local and national employment legislation matters; understanding where to find information sources on this topic and how to apply the information; coaching management on the latest employment legislation matters.

  • Understanding business strategies and initiatives, such as safety, security, and productivity, to act as a resource for management and line human resources regarding labor relations.

  • Maintaining a business partnership with both the labor organization and company representatives; anticipating labor issues and plans for solutions.

  • Setting the framework for the contract approval process.

  • Improving our collective capability in important, related competencies.

  • Identifying and approving and train lead negotiators.
