Senior Business Analyst
General Description
- Supports the Fraud Prevention and Cybersecurity Divisions in requirement gathering, process improvement, strategy design and productivity measurement projects and/or initiatives. Applies technical, analytical and documentation skills, while leveraging business intelligence tools, to produce data-driven solutions to business-related problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Data Management
Understand business data.
Use business intelligence tools to:
Extract and transform data from their corresponding sources.
Perform data validation to assess quality and meaning of data.
Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends.
Summarize and present data to Management for decision-making and operation visibility purposes.
Project Documentation
Create documentation with project objectives, requirements, resources, scope, schedule, cost, risks, and general completion.
Provide status and workplan execution results of the various phases of the project.
Prepares official project reports for senior management, internal/external clients/providers, etc....
Technical Problem-Solving
Use automation and development tools to support process improvement initiatives.

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics and/or Information Systems from four-year college or university
Experience
- At least four (4) years of related experience and training, including experience in data analytics and/or process improvement and automation. Knowledge in fraud prevention and/or cybersecurity is preferred.
Certifications / Licenses (nice to have)
Business Analyst Certification
PMP
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

Proficient in data processing tools like SQL, SAS, Power BI and Advanced Excel.
Has the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team, with little to no supervision.
Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions and/or approaches to problems.
Is organized, result-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
Is a Fast-learner, proactive and self-taught individual.
Can work under pressure and deal with innovation and constant/rapid changes.
