Position Overview:

Robert Half is seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team as a full-time employee. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative, project-based work and has strong ERP software experience. The Staff Accountant will thrive in fast-paced environments, be a quick learner, and demonstrate the ability to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities. This position offers an exciting blend of team collaboration and independent work across various industries such as semiconductor, manufacturing, construction, and non-profit sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and reconcile general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial statements in accordance with established policies and industry regulations.

• ERP Software Expertise: Utilize ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage accounting processes and streamline reporting workflows. Ensure data accuracy and support system improvements.

• Project-Based Work: Participate in various accounting projects, offering support in areas such as audits, system upgrades, or financial analysis, all while working across multiple client projects.

• Industry Knowledge: Apply accounting best practices and industry-specific knowledge in the semiconductor, manufacturing, construction, or non-profit sectors to support project success.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, both internal and external, to ensure timely and accurate financial data collection and reporting.

• Process Improvement & Support: Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations. Assist in the creation and documentation of processes for future scalability.

• Independent & Teamwork: Take initiative and work independently, while also collaborating in a team environment to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• ERP Experience: Proven experience working with major ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), and strong familiarity with their application in accounting processes.

• Industry Experience: Prior experience or familiarity with semiconductor, manufacturing, construction, or non-profit industries is a plus.

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment with strong multitasking abilities.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to think critically and offer solutions under pressure.

• Team-Oriented: Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills for working in a team-based setting.

• Quick Learner: Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and systems to stay ahead of evolving accounting practices.
