Summary The Strategic Corporate Planning and Analysis Manager will play a critical role in driving strategic projects within company to help achieve company goals.  Breakdown complex business activities into simple framework, proactively identifying areas for improvements and communicate the plans to senior management.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving business strategy and focus on transformation and operation projects.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to provide valuable insights and support the achievement of organizational goals.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and economic research and analysis to identify industry trends, new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and forecast to support various business strategies.

  • Analyzes the competitive environment sales records, market penetration, market potential and future trends and makes recommendations based on findings.

  • Understands technologies related to TAEC’s product and/or customer products to evaluate the industry’s competitive edge and economic trends.

  • Manages special strategic projects critical to accomplishing a corporate mission.

  • Responsibilities may include special projects, resolution of complex trade issues, sponsorships of Six Sigma Project. Accountable for budget, staffing and resource planning and results.

  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators to track business performance and drive operational improvements. Develop dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion. Collaborate with department heads and finance teams to develop realistic budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.

  • Assist with the development of corporate presentations and communicate various analyzed data within company.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or a related role. Previous managerial experience is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.  With the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and use metrics to back up assumptions and translate into business implications.

  • Experience focusing on Transformation/Strategy/Operation projects.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to synthesize and structure strategic issues in a concise way.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree and/or CPA qualification is a plus.

Salary Range

Irvine: $100,000 -$165,000

San Jose: $114,300 - $188,600
