Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Analyst/Manager/Director in San Jose, California. In this role, you will lead and manage the tax department, develop and implement tax strategies, and provide comprehensive tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing and preparing complex federal, state, local, and international tax returns.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the tax department, including the development and implementation of tax strategies, policies, and procedures.

• Provide comprehensive tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

• Review and prepare complex federal, state, local, and international tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.

• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide clear, well-documented conclusions and recommendations.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate changes and updates to clients and internal teams.

• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the highest level of client service and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated services and support business development efforts.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships, addressing client needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

• Assist with the development and implementation of new tax services and offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Requirements • Proficiency in the use of 3M, ADP - Financial Services, and CCH Sales Tax software

• Familiarity with Compliance software and CorpTax Software

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Demonstrable experience in Compliance and Income Tax Accounting

• Knowledge and experience dealing with the IRS

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Coach (CTC) designation is preferred

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret tax laws and regulations

• Experience with tax research tools and databases is preferred

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws.
