Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping Duties:

• Prepare and process shipping documents, including packing slips, shipping labels, and invoices.

• Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.

• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, ensuring items are properly packed and labeled.

• Update and maintain shipping records and databases.

• Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues promptly.

• Receiving Duties:

• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality.

• Match received goods with purchase orders and packing slips.

• Document and report any discrepancies or damage to suppliers or vendors.

• Update inventory records and assist with stock counts.

• Store items in designated locations within the warehouse.

• Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with reorder processes as needed.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.

• Ensure proper storage of inventory to prevent damage and facilitate easy access.

• Customer Service:

• Address any shipping or receiving-related inquiries from customers or internal departments.

• Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment statuses and inventory levels.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Follow company policies and regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving.

salary: $19 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Inspect and record the condition of received goods; promptly report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.

• Prepare outgoing shipments by securely packing items and labeling packages accurately for shipment.

• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas to facilitate efficient tracking and retrieval of goods.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely processing of shipments.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
