Micron is hiring a Program Manager in Storage Business Unit’s (SBU’s) Strategic Marketing Team! This role will lead the development of SBU’s roadmaps through its established management process, as well as the Product Change Management process!
You will be vital to these efforts as you ensure roadmap deliverables are coordinated with other content contributors, are accurate, and are presented in a timely fashion to executives and other customers. This role will partner with the SBU executive team!
Responsibilities:
Understand, communicate, and drive the process for developing SBU roadmaps for SSDsand NAND. You will develop roadmap versions for both internal and external audiences on a cadence defined by established roadmap processes.
Chair weekly Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to ensure processes are followed for Product Change Requests (PCRs), publish notes and decisions, and track metrics.
Understand, communicate, and drive the process for developing SBU’s roadmaps including SSDs, NAND, and High-Speed-Capacity (HSC) NAND I/O Expander ASICs.
Drive and work closely with Product Line Managers (PLMs), Product Development Team Leads (PDLs) and the Non-Volatile Engineering Group (NVEG) to align roadmap and change control processes with the Micron Product Lifecycle Management process.Align cross-functional teams including PLMs, PDTs, NAND and HSC Product Development Leads, Technical Product Managers (TPMs), NVEG Engineering Teams, Global Operations, and other business units.
Identify and resolveRoadmap and Product Change Control process gaps and additions.
Qualifications:
Program management skills :Must be capable of driving sophisticated processes.
Command skills :Must be capable of driving customers up to and including executives, despite partners often having other exciting priorities.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate processes to relevant customers, especially executives.
Technical knowledge: Must have proven understanding of SSD and NAND technologies.Proficiency with MS Office tools,especiallyPowerPoint, is required. Prior experience using Atlassian JIRA for tracking is a plus.
Attention to detail: Must be capable of identifying and correcting errors made by contributorsincludinggrammar, content, and formatting.
Collaborative skills: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives across departments, as well as providing leadership to teams on the implementation of critical initiatives.
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree experience preferred and at least 7+ years of relevant work experience.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$123,500.00 - $278,500.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
