Available Position: Preschool and Elementary School Vice Principal
Compensation: $75,000- 85,000/yr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.
The role of Vice Principal will report to our School Principal, serving as the school’s educational leader for our 200 students and 30 academic staff members. In this position, you will assist the principal in managing the overall operations of the school, including:
Establishing and maintaining a nurturing and effective learning environment
Create a community in which all members feel safe and secure. Champion safeguarding at all times.
Responsible for overall management and supervision of academic staff
Selection and assignment of school personnel
Curriculum development and overseeing the ordering of materials
Support all phases of the enrollment process, including tours, Shadow visits, and updating our CRM/leads management platform
Serve as a role model for effective instruction, assessment design, data-driven instruction, and planning
Observe and coach staff; plan and conduct professional development
Oversee and maintain student records, including immunizations; facilitate records requests
Foster parent partnerships and attend parent group functions
Plan, organize, and direct the implementation of all school activities including Teacher In-Service Days and Field Trips
Plan and execute enrollment events including Saturday Open House Events
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will come with:
Several years of teaching experience
3-5 years of administration or leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood preferred)
Minimum 12 ECE Units
Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
