Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Investor Relations Intern - Summer 2025 in San Jose, California

Job Overview:

The role will be to support the Investor Relations Group in its communications with shareholders and investors. This includes preparing materials for quarterly earnings releases, preparing for investor conferences and meetings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Competitive IR messaging.

  • Getting to a $200 billion market cap company.

  • Prospecting strategy (known as “investor targeting”).

  • Competitive analysis.

  • Assist with quarterly earnings releases.

  • Assist with investor conference preparations.

  • Observe investor calls and meetings at headquarters.

    Job Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BS/BA/MBA in Business Administration or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in finance and investing. Interest in technology a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and willingness to learn new software applications.

  • Good teamwork and influencing skills.

  • Good research skills – ability to find, analyze, and summarize information from a variety of sources.

  • The internship will be based in Silicon Valley at Cadence’s corporate headquarters.
