• We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in San Jose, California. This role primarily involves bookkeeping and administrative tasks within a small accounting team. The Bookkeeper will handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and potentially some payroll tasks, along with some general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks

• Assist with payroll procedures as needed

• Conduct general administrative duties to support the accounting team

• Maintain and manage customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Keep up-to-date customer credit records

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Operate with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of efficiency.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong bookkeeping skills

• Experience in administrative assistance

• Familiarity with payroll processing

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.
