Accenture Workday Certified Extend Lead - Education and Government in San Francisco, California
As a Workday Integrations Extend Lead, your primary responsibilities may include:
Lead the design, build and support testing of Workday Extend applications based on client application requirements, incorporating functional, security, technical, performance, quality, and operations consideration through to deployment
Actively solve complex business problems by leveraging Workday cloud platform functionality, with primary focus on Workday Extend, integrations and custom reporting across a wide array of Human Capital Management, Financial, Supply Chain and Student functional areas
Manage, lead and contribute to Accenture’s Workday Extend Community of Practice to continuously improve our methods for development and delivery at a global scale
Manage and lead vendor (internal/external) design sessions to manage to overall program timeline and deliverables
Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams, to meet client objectives for the Workday extend deployment, with focus on usability, functionality and performance of the Extend application(s)
Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
Lead with an innovative mindset to solution and design Extend solutions to solve complex business requirements for our clients

Job Qualifications
Here's what you need:
Workday Extend Certification and Studio Certification
Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience, most recently in a Workday Extend lead role
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday Extend experience including Workday Extend Model Level Components, PMD Scripting, Orchestrations, Studio, EIB, and supporting 3rd party coding
Minimum of 3 years of US and/or Global Workday deployment experience, with preference to relevant Workday Extend/Cloud platform experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience and working knowledge of webservice technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML), scripting skills (Javascript, Java or Python) and broader knowledge of API First architecture
Experience leading an implementation team, focused on implementing Platform-as-a-service and/or custom web applications, ideally implementing Workday solutions, Workday Extend within Human Capital Management, Financials, Supply Chain or Student
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years’ work experience). If associate’s degree must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.
Bonus points if:
Workday HCM and FINs core certifications
Workday Orchestrate Certification
Understanding of touchpoints of functional-technical areas across the Workday platform, with Human Capital Management, Finance, Supply Chain or Student as the foundation
Promote a team-oriented, ambitious, and innovative work environment while maintaining and continuously growing the Workday Extend team
Critical thinker, Innovator with ability to bring new ideas to solving business problems for clients
Extensive experience in designer and developer related roles with demonstrated ability to deliver coded application development work to a production environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
Ability to understand not just the technical components, but application design, and product-oriented mindset that can be leveraged for Workday Extend App development
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Referenceable experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
