This is a hybrid role, 2x a week in SF. It’s an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding firm, join a vibrant new team, and work closely with leading portfolio companies and industry innovators. Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Controller, contributing to high-impact projects.

• Take on tax review and fund accounting responsibilities.

• Review tax returns and lead tax planning at the fund level.

• Manage relationships with tax vendors and investors.

• Support financial accounting by reviewing fund admin work, overseeing audits, and contributing to fundraising efforts.

  Requirements

• 5+ years of tax experience in asset management, ideally VC/PE

• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

• CPA or equivalent preferred.

• Background in R& D tax credits, international tax, and corporate tax fundamentals.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related.
