Description

We are offering a role that involves working in the construction/contractor industry, located in San Francisco, California. This role will primarily involve performing the functions of a Staff Accountant. Entry level Staff Accountant position at a well-established San Francisco mechanical subcontracting company with a busy office environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Post A/R invoices

• Prepare unconditional progress and final waivers

• Research/resolve billing discrepancies

• Review timecard entries for proper job costing

• Enter contracts and change orders

• Produce maintenance invoices

• Reconcile monthly credit card statements

• Update monthly out of stock

• Prepare various journal entries

• Update pre-qual questionnaires

• Assist in quarterly use tax return

• Assist in quarterly and year end close process

• Textura compliance/wrap up compliance

• Light clerical duties – phone support, filing, mailing and copying

• Special projects as needed
