Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in San Francisco, California. This role is in the commercial banking industry and the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for regulatory reporting production and using Alteryx software.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Alteryx software for various financial tasks and analyses

• Prepare comprehensive regulatory reports in compliance with commercial banking standards

• Manage FRY 14 reports and ensure their accuracy and timeliness

• Work closely with various banking departments to gather necessary data for report preparation

• Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal and external requirements

• Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards

• Provide support and guidance on regulatory reporting matters to the team

• Assist in the development and implementation of regulatory reporting strategies to optimize efficiency and quality

• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and standards in the commercial banking industry. Requirements • Must hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Alteryx

• Experience in Regulatory Reporting is required

• Knowledge and experience in Commercial Banking sector

• Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• High level of integrity and dependability

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
