Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Project Manager VI to lead our Bus Terminals and Yards projects in San Francisco, CA . As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for bus terminal and yard construction and renovation projects
Manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and city officials
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges
Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, financial forecasting, and budget management
Lead stakeholder communications and presentations to senior management, board members, and public officials
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation infrastructure
Implement best practices in sustainable design and construction for bus terminals and yards
Mentor and develop junior project management staff
Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field plus 10 years of related experience or equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred requirements:
Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Program Manager or Sr. Project Manager.
Experience with zero-emission vehicles or technology, including design and/or implementation of ZEB facilities.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale bus terminal and yard projects.
Experience working with San Francisco MTA.
Experience delivering $500M+ MTA projects, specifically bus terminals and yards.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $160,000.00 - $205,000.00.
