Meta Partnerships Manager, Payments in San Francisco, California

Summary:

The Payment Partnerships team manages Meta’s relationships across the payments industry, working with world-leading companies and FinTechs across the entire financial services ecosystem. The team develops, manages, and grows partnerships to power payments across the Family of Apps - Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Reality Labs - including payments use cases like advertising, e-commerce, games, marketplace and messaging payments, P2P, subscriptions, and more. As a Payment Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key industry partnerships and our ongoing pipeline of business deals and negotiations. You’ll work across a global team to prioritize opportunities and solve challenges, in close collaboration with product, engineering, ops, finance, legal, sales, treasury, and other teams across the company. You’ll assess new partnerships and manage & grow existing ones.

Required Skills:

Partnerships Manager, Payments Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and grow existing and new payments partnerships with a variety of companies across the industry

  2. lead all aspects of day-to-day relationships with global & regional partners

  3. Manage ongoing pipelines and partner workstreams, which may include payments processing and money movement, commerce enablement, messaging payments, and distribution deals that grow adoption & usage of Meta payments & financial services products

  4. Work closely with product & engineering teams to identify gaps & opportunities for partner-led solutions

  5. Manage all executive communications, escalations, and touchpoints related to the partnerships across the companies

  6. Negotiate & close deals that enable key business goals including payments performance optimization, fraud mitigation, and cost management

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years working in tech, payments, or finance, with an emphasis on developing and managing partnerships at scale

  2. Bachelors degree

  3. Communication and presentation skills

  4. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and outcomes through ambiguous and complex situations

  5. Experience with strategic thinking with an analytical mindset, and experience creating durable frameworks that make sense of complex information and shifting industry & company dynamics

  6. Ability to drive projects from ideation to completion with minimal guidance

  7. Proven track record of building trusted, high-impact relationships with large cross-functional teams

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
