Robert Half Litigation Paralegal in San Francisco, California

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Paralegal based in San Francisco, California. Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will focus on class action cases and must be able to be onsite 3 days a week. The role will involve various paralegal duties such as depositions, interrogatories, investigations, and witness preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Work on class action cases, ensuring each case is handled diligently and efficiently

• Actively participate in depositions, gathering and presenting relevant information

• Handle interrogatories, providing comprehensive responses to questions related to the case

• Conduct investigations, utilizing investigative skills to uncover pertinent details

• Prepare witnesses for trials, ensuring they are adequately briefed and ready for court

• Utilize Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Excel to manage case information effectively

• Perform billing functions and calendar management to ensure smooth case management

• Handle complaints, addressing any issues or concerns that arise during the case

• Utilize skills in Litigation-Class Action and Class Action for the successful execution of duties

• Manage claim administration, ensuring all claims are properly filed and tracked. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and LexisNexis

• Knowledge and experience with Case Management Software and Management System

• Demonstrable expertise in Billing Functions

• Experience in Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling

• Familiarity with Litigation - Class Action and Class Action processes

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed

• Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred

• Must have a certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an equivalent certification

• Must have a strong understanding of legal terminology, local court/jurisdiction rules, and federal regulations

• Strong research and report-generating skills

• Experience in working with legal technology (e.g. billing software, document management software, etc.)
