Global Payroll Associate Position
Location: San Francisco
Work Scheme: Hybrid - In-Office Tues - Thurs
Salary: $130-$170k + Bonus + Highly competitive profit sharing plan
Our client serves both individual and institutional clients globally, championing singular investment philosophies across a range of focused offerings and have a total AUM of over $300B.
Our client is currently searching for an experienced Payroll Associate to join their Human Capital team. The associate will assume responsibility in processing the bi-weekly US payroll and monthly global payrolls.
Primary Responsibilities:
Processing bi-weekly payroll for non-exempt employees based in the U.S.
Processing global payroll for the UK, China, and Germany using international vendors and consultants
Answering queries relating to time entry and location tracking
Completing California Fair Pay reporting for contractors
Production of payroll and audit reports as required
Handling benefit audits
Assisting with State Disability Insurance administration
Assisting with onboarding new employees for the Profit Sharing Plan, and ongoing communications
Completing employment compensation verifications
Serving as a back-up for the Payroll and Benefits Manager
Requirements
Qualifications:
Four year college degree with an outstanding academic record
5+ payroll experience; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
Experience with payroll software systems, especially Workday
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of multi-state payroll tax withholding
Exceptional judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality operating with high integrity
Highly organized and capable of handling multiple priorities, reliable with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging automation
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to learn quickly
Capacity to think independently while working collaboratively
Interest and/or experience in the investment management industry desired
