Job Summary

Are you a culinary visionary with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? Wolfgang Puck Catering is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our cafe and amenity space. In this role, you will oversee menu development, manage kitchen operations, and inspire a team of culinary professionals to deliver innovative and high-quality dishes. With a focus on private event catering and the integration of advanced culinary techniques, this is your chance to make a significant impact in a prestigious and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.

  • Create and implement innovative menus that reflect the latest culinary trends and customer preferences.

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment on goals, standards, and expectations.

  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met.

  • Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Manage food costs, inventory, and purchasing to ensure budgetary goals are achieved.

  • Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to optimize kitchen operations and profitability.

  • Collaborate with the event planning team to create customized menus for private events, ensuring client satisfaction and exceptional service.

  • Oversee the execution of catering events, ensuring timely and professional delivery of services.

  • Stay current with industry trends, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.

  • Utilize advanced culinary technologies and methodologies to enhance the dining experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of five years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume kitchen.

  • Experience in multi-unit management is preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.

  • Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.

  • Proficient in using kitchen management software and Microsoft Office programs.
