U.S. Mint Die Finishing Specialist Training Leader in San Francisco, California

Summary This position is located in the Coining Section, Product Division, Plant Manager Office, Manufacturing Department, United States Mint in San Francisco, CA, Department of the Treasury. Responsibilities As a/an Die Finishing Specialist Training Leader, you will: Provide certification training for a workforce of Die Finishing Specialists, Buffer and Polishers, Heat Treaters, Die Setters, Material Treatment Machine Operators, and Metal Forming Machine Operators Perform specialized classroom and hands on training related to complex PVD chambers, polishers, lasers, ultrasonic cleaners, annealing furnaces, complex stamping presses, upset mills, burnishing mills, other production equipment, and support equipment. Develop proposed certification plans by using the progress trackers and certification project trackers, and record dates of classroom training attendance, hands on training, quizzes, module exams and certification. Requirements Conditions of Employment All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines. A one-year probationary period may be required. Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required. Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
