Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting, performance reporting, and financial operations for both our investment funds and management company.

• Ensure monthly reporting and NAV reconciliation, including oversight of outsourced accounting providers.

• Collaborate closely with investment, trading, and compliance teams to devise and implement portfolio monitoring and financial optimization strategies.

• Manage year-end tax accounting processes effectively.

• Oversee compliance efforts, including SEC filings and adherence to ethical standards, ensuring robust quarterly attestations.

  Requirements

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

• 5-15 years of experience in Big 4 serving investment fund clients or in-house at an investment firm or fund administrator.

• CPA certification preferred.

• A strong grasp of partnership taxation and finance fundamentals.

• Proven ability to manage finance and operations within hedge fund environments.

• Expertise in financial reporting, tax accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Quick adaptability to specialized areas like the commodities space.

• Advanced MS Excel

• Exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
