Position Overview:
Responsible for the operations of the department goals and objectives for the call center. Provides leadership and direct oversight of the Scheduling Supervisors and staff. Integrates the call center services with the primary functions of the ancillary departments; develops/implements policies and procedures and standard work that guide or support service, and assesses and improves department performance. Is engaged with creating a culture of patient centered care and customer service consistent with the Organization's Mission, Values and Vision. Monitors and implements programs to ensure efficient operations, analyzes procedures, processes and systems for accuracy, efficiency and process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies and processes. Maintains excellent working relationships with departmental peers, clinical departments, community providers and staff. Other responsibilities include hiring, training, monitoring and evaluation of new and current staff.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Health care or Business Administration or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Solid understanding of Call Center Scheduling operations and workflows and how department’s process/workflow impacts other flows or departments.
Knowledge and understanding of applicable local, state, federal and other health care laws, regulations and requirements – e.g., TJC, Medi-Cal, Medicare.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues problems as guided by policies, and procedures, or guidance from leadership.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives.
An ability to prioritize multiple demands and projects is critical.
Demonstrates ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
Demonstrates ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.

Pay Range is $55.35 to $83.03 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
