Job Description Summary
The Broker Specialist will report to the Operations Manager and will serve as dedicated broker support to a team of top fee-earners leading Multifamily Capital Markets for Northern California. This licensed position is responsible for the support and management of client service activities, providing superior marketing packages, research, and administrative support critical to the overall success of the broker(s). The Broker Specialist will interact with various departments within the organization on behalf of the fee-earner to ensure they are able to meet the needs of their clients. In this capacity, the Brokerage Specialist will be viewed as a direct line of communication to the fee-earner themselves.
Job Description
Demonstrate a project management mentality by overseeing deadlines, resources, and communication across teams.
Research target companies to identify key contacts and add to brokers’ database, targeting for passive distribution of brokers’ regularly distributed content. Utilize a variety of data sources to gather data, including but not limited to CW proprietary resources like Site Solutions, Costar, ZoomInfo and others.
Manage and analyze weekly content distribution.
Assist brokers in all facets of their business, including market research, prospecting, presentation development, transaction analysis, property due diligence, touring clients, negotiations, preparing lease abstracts, etc.
Manage brokers’ CRM software by inputting new pursuits and updating current opportunities as necessary and fulfill brokers’ obligations with respect to Cushman & Wakefield’s CRM software (Engage).
Work with the research team to retrieve comps, update building stacks from systems, and gather other market information as needed.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market & industry and working relationships with industry professionals.
Create and develop content for, client materials, such as tour books, Bill of Values (BOVs), and Offering Memorandums (OMs).client materials (i.e. tour books and other materials) with marketing, and graphic resources. Create and develop content for Broker Opion of Value (BOVs) and Offering Memorandum (OMs).
Assist in the creation and/or editing of presentation materials including flyers, exclusives, leasing proposals, case studies, email blasts, invitations, letter of intent (LOI), NDA’s, DREARs, Referrals etc.
Utilize standard marketing-approved templates and graphics while assisting in the creation of presentation materials, etc.
Responsible for all administrative tasks for the team including expense tracking and report submission, meeting and event scheduling and set up/break down as well as managing and coordinating deal booking and tracking invoices, etc.
Qualifications You Bring:
Real estate license preferred otherwise required to procure and maintain within 6 months of start date.
Bachelor's Degree
Overall working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of statistics/quantitative analysis, and finance (e.g., concepts of present value and return on investment, financial modeling)
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage various aspects of a project.
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Physical Environment:
Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
May involve periods of standing, such as operating at machines including copiers, faxes, scanners, binding, cutting, and folding.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $73,950.00 - $87,000.00
