Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented, focused, and skilled Billing Specialist in the construction industry. As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate generation and management of invoices in our construction division. Proficiency in progress billing and Foundation Software is a key requirement for this role. You will also handle any related queries, maintain accounts receivable records, and ensure consistency and accuracy in our financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of billing operations for the construction projects under management.

• Manage progress billing processes to ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms and conditions.

• Generate precise and timely invoices, credit memos, and various other billing records using Foundation Software.

• Reconcile billing accounts to the general ledger, research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with the Operations and Project Management teams to ensure all project costs are accurately captured and billed.

• Process necessary adjustments to client accounts and update all billing adjustments in Foundation Software.

• Maintain updated records of accounts receivable, financial transactions, and client data.

• Coordinate with the clients or project managers to resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Prepare monthly billing reports and project analyses as required by the management.

• Comply strictly with all company's processes, policies and financial guidelines.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• Proven experience as a billing specialist in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of progress billing.

• Proficiency in Foundation Software and other financial management tools.

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in work.

• Excellent ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an assertive, yet professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently to make sound decisions based on analyses.

• Robust knowledge in dealing with accounting and taxation principles.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
