Job summary:

As a Strategy & Corporate Development Associate or Analyst at Aumni, you'll help the business answer complex questions that will shape long-term strategic direction and growth opportunities. Our team partners with technology and revenue leaders to identify new business opportunities, maximize the commercial impact of our products, and measure the effectiveness of our business investments.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and synthesize findings to propose recommendations that shape company strategy

  • Drive start-to-finish strategic initiatives such as launching and scaling a new partnership/business or accelerating growth in an existing business

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, operations, compliance, risk, and other functions to support the development of our products and company

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of our business investments to senior leadership

  • Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to understand customer needs that inform our overall business strategy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, corporate strategy, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development

  • Ability to work in-office in San Francisco at least 3 days a week

  • Strong presentation and financial modeling skills

  • Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills with a knack for persuasive storytelling to a diverse group of audiences

  • Collaborative and flexible mindset to adapt to ever-changing business needs and private markets environment

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • A demonstrated interest in venture capital, financial services, and private markets

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prefer experience in the venture capital industry

Base Salary: San Francisco, CA $135,000.00 - $180,000.00 / year
